Introduction

Enhancing referral incentives is an excellent strategy. In addition to your existing advocate reward, consider offering a points bonus for customers who successfully refer new clients. This approach effectively motivates your customers to become brand ambassadors.

Enabling points for completing a referral

1. From the BrandLift Dashboard, go to Loyalty > Points.
2. Under Earning Points, click Add Another Way to Earn.
3. Select Complete a Referral in the Ways to Earn prompt.
4. Edit the Way to Earn to your preferences

Earning points - Specify the number of points members should receive upon completing a successful referral

Limit how many times each customer can earn points for completing this action - Select this option to implement a cap on the points earned for this activity.

5. Toggle the status switch

Common questions

Can I disable the Advocate reward and just use this reward instead?

Instead of deactivating the reward, you have the option to select 'Earn Points' as the advocate reward in your Referrals program configuration. This will automatically connect the reward to your 'Complete a Referral' earning method.
