Custom Referral Domain Considerations
If you've added a custom domain, you'll notice that the Invite Friend emails will send from [email protected]
for this peer to peer email invite friend email (friend sending). This is by design, we send from @mg.brandlift-mail.com
for peer to peer email invites instead of [email protected]
because of the likelihood of spam complaints on these emails. High spam report rates can damage your domain's sending credibility, so for these peer-to-peer invitation emails, we strongly advise using our domain. This way, if spam reports occur, we absorb the impact instead of you. This approach is standard practice among referral service providers.
While we can modify this upon request, the potential risks to your sending reputation could increase significantly – therefore, we advise against this option.
