Revoke redeemed rewards

Introduction

Should a customer change their mind about using a redeemed reward, it's possible to cancel it and restore the points to their account. This feature is particularly useful when customers accidentally redeem a reward or prefer to accumulate points for a more valuable reward option.

Revoking rewards to refund points

To cancel a member's unused reward and automatically return the points to their balance, please adhere to the following instructions.

Revoking Rewards from the Activity Page

  1. From the Loyalty dashboard, go to Programs > Activity.
  2. Under Loyalty Program, select the redeemed reward you'd like to convert back to points and click Refund.
  3. The reward has now been revoked and the points added back to the customer's points balance.

Revoking Rewards from a Customer's Profile

In cases where a customer unintentionally redeemed an unwanted reward and wishes to reclaim the points for a more premium reward, you can now easily nullify the reward directly from their Customer account page within the application, converting it back into points.
