Adding Translating Texts For On-site Displays

Introduction

Want to implement BrandLift Loyalty in a different language or modify some text on the widget or dedicated page? The Translation feature in BrandLift Loyalty enables seamless editing and language adaptation for all these components!

Translation section of the app

To personalize the language used in the app, simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Branding section from your Loyalty dashboard.
  2. Select Translation.
  3. This section allows you to enter your desired translations for text used in BrandLift's In-Store displays, including both the widget and dedicated page.
  4. After entering your desired translations, remember to click Save.

💡 Pro Tip: If any fields are left empty, the text will default to English. To create a more personalized experience, we recommend filling in these fields with translations or custom text, whether in English or other languages.

Common questions

Is it possible to create two translations within the app?

At present, the app supports only one language setting. Customers accessing your store from any global location will see the translations you've selected on the app's translations page.

Is it possible to translate texts within brackets?

Text enclosed in double curly braces ({{...}}) represents variables that are pre-configured to show dynamic, user-specific information; these cannot be edited or translated. They correspond to data from your program settings, such as {{tier_name}} which will display a specific VIP tier name you've previously defined. However, you can translate the text surrounding these variables. For example, any descriptive words accompanying the variables (like 'joined') can be translated in the Translation settings of the app.
