Customize your Loyalty email setting

Introduction

Tailor your program notification email settings to align with your store's identity. This guide will walk you through the essential email notification configurations, allowing you to set up your preferences effortlessly.

Sender settings

Modify the sender name and email address that appears on your messages, as well as the reply-to address. These are initially set to your store's brand name and the email linked to your Shopify account by default.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Email
  3. Fill in the fields under Sender Settings
    1. From name - The name visible to customers in their inbox
    2. From email - The email address visible to customers receiving your email
    3. Reply email - Specify an email for customers to reply to your emails
  4. Save changes.

Explicit opt-in

To ensure you're only reaching out to those who want to hear from you, you can activate the Explicit Email Opt-In feature. This setting ensures BrandLift only sends notifications to customers marked as Subscribed in your Shopify database.

  1. Go to Settings > Email
  2. Scroll down to Require Explicit Opt-In
  3. Toggle the switch to ON
  4. Save changes.

Branding

Enhance your brand messaging by integrating your company's signature colors and logo into your email designs.

  1. Go to Settings > Email
  2. Scroll down to Branding
  3. Click Edit Email Design. You'll be redirected to the Email Design page
  4. Here you can:
    1. Change the appearance of all of your email's color schemes
    2. Customize the button border-radius
    3. Add header media: Banner image (1200px by 480px) or a logo image (400px by 144px)
  5. Save changes.

Custom URL Path

The default CTA button in your loyalty program emails directs customers to your homepage using the / URL. For a more tailored experience, you can customize this path to guide customers to any specific page on your site (e.g., mystore.com/pages/loyalty-program).

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Email
  3. Scroll down to Advanced
  4. Add the custom URL path.

Custom CSS

Get creative with CSS to adapt your emails for various occasions like seasonal promotions, special events, or personalized offers. This approach can make your communications more engaging and relevant to your Loyalty program participants.

  1. Go to Settings > Email
  2. Scroll down to Advanced
  3. Insert the CSS codes into the text area
  4. Save changes.

Change the default email address on your account

The default email address for BrandLift communications is the account owner's email from your Shopify settings. To receive BrandLift newsletters, updates, test emails, and CSVs at your preferred address, follow these steps to update your contact information.

  1. Go to Settings > General or click here
  2. Scroll down to Account Settings
  3. Enter a new email address
  4. Save changes

Common questions

Why I can't add my custom domain?

If you are not able to edit your custom domain, please make sure you have configured at least one domain in Shopify. Read Shopify's guide here.
