Customizing referral settings

Introduction

Leverage the power of word-of-mouth marketing by utilizing referral links to boost your online store's visibility and attract new customers. Maximize your reach by employing the app's referral link functionality, which allows your members to easily share with their network!

Sharing the referral link through social platforms

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Program > Referrals.
  2. Scroll down to the Social Sharing Settings section.
  3. Check the box of the social platform where you want to allow the sharing of referral links. In this example, we checked all three — Twitter, Facebook, Email, and WhatsApp.
  4. Optional: Either if you are checking Twitter or WhatsApp as well, include a message in the field provided.
  5. When you're satisfied with your settings, click Save.

Email notifications for Referral Completed

In addition to sharing referral links on various social media channels, the app can be configured to automatically send email alerts to your customers when their referred friends redeem their rewards!

  1. Go to Programs > Emails on the left navigation panel.
  2. Set Referral Completed to ON under Notifications.
  3. No need to look for a Save button since the app will automatically do so!

Customizing email notifications

Although some store owners opt for the pre-set email templates for successful referrals, you have the flexibility to tailor these notifications to align with your brand's unique voice and style.

  1. Click Edit on Referral Completed under Notifications.
  2. Enter the texts that you want to appear on the following fields:
    1. Subject - The subject line of the email
    2. Title - The main heading of the email copy
    3. Subtitle - The secondary text of the email copy
    4. Button - The text of the button that brings the customer to your store
    5. Subtext - T&Cs or fine print text. {{reward_tos}} will be replaced by any conditions set for the reward.
  3. When you're satisfied with your settings, click Save.

Common questions

Can I also see a preview of the email notification settings on mobile view?

Absolutely! You can easily switch between desktop and mobile previews by clicking the respective icons located above the Subject line in the preview pane on the right side of the screen.
