How to enable discount combinations in BrandLift
Leverage Discount Combinations to set up automatic preferences for combining discounts on BrandLift-generated codes. This setting applies to Redemption Methods, referral program incentives, and VIP member perks.
- From your BrandLift Dashboard, go to Settings > Orders
- Under Discount Combinations, select which classes of discounts you want the BrandLift rewards to combine with.
- Product - To combine rewards with product discounts
- Order - To combine rewards with order discounts
- Shipping - To combine rewards with free shipping discounts
- Click Save.
Types of discount combinations available
Shopify offers five distinct discount combination categories. The following section outlines the types of discounts that can be combined within a single order, along with the corresponding terminology used by BrandLift.

Shopify's known limitations

- Customers can use a maximum of 5 discounts on a single order
- Discounts can only be combined on orders that are made through the Online Store
- To combine product discounts with order discounts and/or order discounts with other order discounts, you must meet the following requirements:
- You are not using the apps Global-e and/or Licensify
- Your store must not use any checkout.liquid customizations or features. If you revert to checkout.liquid, then your store becomes ineligible for the above combinations.

Are BrandLift rewards automatic discounts?

Why can't I combine product discounts with order discounts or order discounts with other order discounts?
