Introduction
The ideal location to explain your Loyalty program's mechanics is a specialized webpage on your site. This will serve as the primary hub for existing and prospective customers to enroll and comprehend the advantages of your program. This guide will show you how to craft a custom landing page for your Loyalty, Rewards, and Referrals initiative using our built-in page constructor.
Walkthrough
Benefits
- Show how your Loyalty program works
- Explain the benefits of your program on a stand-alone page
- Encourage your customers (and potential customers) to earn points and redeem rewards
- Provide participants with the ability to monitor their point accumulation, reward status, and advancement through program levels.
Create you Dedicated Page
The first thing you need to do is navigate to the page setup in the app.
- Go to Onsite > Dedicated Page
- Click Create Page
- Tada! Your Loyalty Page is now created and visible at
/pages/loyalty-program
on your online store.
If you navigate to the Pages section of your Shopify Admin, a new page will be created called Loyalty Program.
Customize your Page using the page builder
Now for the exciting part – let's begin personalizing the appearance of your page! We'll guide you through the process of modifying, inserting, organizing, and tailoring your page components:
- Banner
- Explainer
- Ways to Earn
- Ways to Redeem
- Referrals
- VIP Tiers.
There are also two views to the page, logged out (guest) and logged in (member). When customers aren't logged into their accounts, they'll see the logged-out version of the page while browsing your site. This view highlights the program's perks and encourages visitors to join your Loyalty program. The logged-in view, visible to customers who have signed into their accounts, displays their personal information, point balance, referral link, and VIP status.
You have the ability to adjust the typography, color scheme, text content, imagery, and background for every section in both the logged-in and logged-out views to align with your brand identity.
💡 Pro Tip: For a banner image, try using Unsplash and searching for keywords related to your brand. For something more custom use one of Canva's free templates. The optimal banner size is 1600x400px.
Launch your Page
To make it accessible to your customers, the final step involves adding a link to your website navigation. From your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Navigation and click the title of the menu that you want to edit.
Ensure you add your Loyalty Program page as a menu item, choose your preferred name, and voilà! You now have a Page published.
Common questions
Can I use the Dedicated Page with only one program enabled?
Affirmative. Sections corresponding to disabled programs will be automatically hidden. However, if you wish to manually conceal a page section, simply toggle the switch adjacent to it.
Can I use the Page exclusively instead of the Floating Widget?
Indeed. Your customers can perform point-related actions directly on the page, including earning, spending, and redeeming. You can hide the Widget by following these instructions. Note that sharing a referral link will still open the Widget.
Can I create multiple Dedicated Pages?
While creating multiple distinct Dedicated Pages isn't possible, you can utilize the page template we generate in your theme code for other pages or you embed the Dedicated Page into sections on your pages.
Does BrandLift translate my Page automatically?
If you use a translation app on your website, the app should pick up that your Dedicated Page is part of your website and translate the page for you. If you use Weglot, please read this guide.
Is my page SEO-friendly?
Yes! The page pulls in all the relevant meta tags from your Shopify Admin.
Can I use custom icons and will they also update on this page?
