How Does BrandLift Loyalty Work With Shopify Flow?

A Shopify Flow workflow consists of three key elements: Triggers, Conditions, and Actions.
- The Trigger is the event that initiates your automation
- Conditions set rules to determine if the action will execute
- The Action is the outcome or change that's made in your store or an app.
With BrandLift events capable of initiating your workflows, you can link them to Actions from other apps or establish conditions to determine which actions are executed.
BrandLift Triggers
The following BrandLift Loyalty & Rewards events can serve as starting points for a workflow.
- Customer moved down a tier → Workflow starts when a customer moves onto a tier inferior to their current tier.
- Customer moved up a tier → Workflow starts when a customer moves onto a tier better than their current tier.
- Customer VIP Tier Updated → Workflow starts when a customer's VIP tier is updated to any new tier.
- Customer birthday → Workflow starts when a customer receives a birthday earning.
BrandLift Conditions
The condition must be added right after any BrandLift Trigger.
- VIP Tier Name → Use the exact name of your tier.
- VIP Tier ID → Use the number that comes after "/tiers/" in the URL.
How To Create a Workflow?
- Open the Flow app and click Create Workflow.
- Click Select a trigger and select the BrandLift: Rewards, Loyalty Program.
- Click the BrandLift trigger you want to add.
- On the BrandLift trigger, click Outcome > Condition or Action.
- Once you have completed your workflow, activate it by clicking Turn on workflow.
Common Questions
Is there any BrandLift Action I can use for my workflow instead?
Indeed! BrandLift also offers Actions such as Assign Points, Grant Points for a Custom Action, Award Points for a Review, and Modify Customer VIP Tier.
